Trust Me
A time I had to get some one to trust me was back in Elementary school. My friend, who is more like a brother to me, had a hard time trusting me at first since I was young and loved to joke around. When I was little I used to love to pick on him even though he was, still is, way taller then me. He used to make fun of me for being so short so I would trip him cause he was so clumsy. Are moms were close so I spent a lot of time with him in class and out of class. We also played on the same baseball team for a while and to tell the truth he loved it but he will never admit it. I used to kick him in the shins with my cleats on any time he would annoy me, which was often. As we grew closer I was able to pick up on the little things like what he was thinking or even who he liked. I have always been too nosy for my own good always wanting to know every thing, especially when it came to him. So as we got older and my pranks got better he was not so certain he could tell me everything. Back then I did not really understand why since I was always a faithful friend, but now looking back I understand. This my be hard to believe to some people but back then I was very talkative and energetic. I could talk a mile a minuet and give you my opinion even if you did not want it. So I would tell him every and anything. Once we got to fourth grade I started to notice he was taking an interest into a girl. In response I would pick on him mercilessly about it, but him being him he would always deny it. This went on for a while. I would beg him to tell me but he held out. For me it was obvious he liked her and it bothered me that he would not tell me. I would be nice on purpose hoping he would let me in on his secrete. Soon he got enough of my begging and made me promise to not tell a sole. So of course I did since he is basically my older brother. It was tough on me at first because I thought I was going to lose him, but you do not lose family and that is what he is. To this day I am grateful he trusted me enough to tell me his secret and that he still does, because with out him I am not sure who I would be.

My Aspirations
“Aspirations”, a hope or ambition to achieve a task at hand. I set aspirations in hopes to one day conquer them all and more. Some can be as simple as learning to tie a shoe or as hard as remembering pi: 3.14159362. I hope to one day be able to speak in front of millions of people without feeling the urge to flee the scene and to have the self confidence to never doubt myself. I would like to be able to read clearly and fluently without confusion. To be able to cross the large river of succession coming out on top. Aspirations are just dreams that for a period of time seem impossible, but nothing is ever truly impossible. Achieving an aspiration takes a lot of hard work and patience. I am ready to overcome my fears and achieve the unthinkable. Sam Montgomery, a wise man, once said, “Don’t let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game”. I interpret this as saying to never let anything stand in the way of your dreams. So I set my aspirations high and work all that much harder to prove everyone wrong and more importantly, myself.
